Supplier Relationships

Greystar values each supplier relationship. We strive to ensure that all communities are using ethically responsible suppliers who provide the best goods and services. To facilitate a streamlined process, suppliers are required to register and maintain compliance via the Greystar's US Supplier Credentialing Program. We also offer programs to expedite processes for product ordering (or procurement), invoicing, and invoice payment. To learn more, review each section below. 
Step 1: Supplier Compliance
Greystar uses NetVendor as our supplier credentialing service provider.
In the US, our supplier compliance program provides added due diligence per supplier, such as criminal background checks, insurance and trade license verifications, and more. Suppliers should achieve “compliant” (or approved) status before beginning a working relationship with one or more of our managed properties, ensuring quality service before, during and after work is complete. 
 
Step 2: Invoice Management
Greystar uses RealPage Spend Management online procurement and spend management software across much of our managed portfolio. This tool offers suppliers (merchants) and communities (buyers) added functionality to support product catalogs, product ordering, and e-invoicing, which provides a more efficient procurement lifecycle and eliminates the need for manual invoice processes.
Step 3: Electronic Payments
Paymode-X is the preferred service provider for suppliers to receive electronic payments. Suppliers that subscribe to this service report receipt of payment up to 10 days faster. Payment is delivered via ACH deposit in lieu of a mailed physical check. Track and report payment status anytime and anywhere. 
 
International Suppliers
For consideration in Europe, South America, and Asia-Pacific, suppliers must have a “Green Flag” status with our compliance program in order to provide goods and services to Greystar communities. Please contact the International Support team via the link below for more information.
